About me
I got my first DSLR camera in 2015 and I was lucky to be introduced to bird photography within a few months. Despite not being inherently patient, I discovered I could stand and watch the delightful antics of birds for hours. It was a meditative experience which I turned to every weekend.
In a few years, my curiosity led me to join birding groups and I found my tribe among birders. Their enthusiasm was contagious and soon participating in and leading bird walks became a cherished weekend ritual for me. I learnt a lot from seasoned birders and also read books and did courses to understand our avian neighbors better. This knowledge helped me to not only become a better birder but a more mindful photographer too.
I have been fortunate to marvel at over 700 species of birds in the wild so far and these birds have led me to some of the most scenic places in the world. These photographs are some of the best moments from the innumerable hours I have spent with nature. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
